Amber's Birthday month (as she would like to call it lol) falls into the month of the San Juan County Fair! So every year we pick a day and all 23 of us head out for some yummy food and a Yehaw'n good time!

This past Saturday we decided to load up the 4 wheelers and the boys and to Jemez Springs. It's right between Cuba and San Y Sidro. Pax was thrilled! He LOVES to be outdoors and LOVES the 4 wheeler. I never realized how pretty NM actually is!~~(I know...what are the odds, lol) We were searching for some hot springs but never found them. Overall it was so much fun!

Chad and I were so excited for Pax to go easter egg hunting this year! He had a blast at Grandma Sue Sue's! There was no stopping him once he figured out there was candy inside those eggs!

OK So I officially suck at posting lately, but working part time and taking care of these two little rug-rats is hard work! Here's a couple of pictures i snapped today of them being the little boys that theyare! Brex is already in 6 month clothes and he's on 2 1/2 months old. For his 2 month check up he weighed 13 lbs 8 ounces and was 25 1/2 inches long! He's not even on the charts for his height for 80Th percentile for weight. I believe I have a giant on my hands! He reminds me a lot of Paxton at this age! They look a lot alike!

Blessing Day

This past Sunday, we had Brex blessed. He looked so cute in his little outfit! Thanks to Uncle Steve for giving him a blessing!

Do you think they look alike? Pretty sure they are twins! We shaved Brex's head cause he looked like a little old man and now he matches Daddy perfectly! LOL
Brex is such a smiley baby, since he was about 3 weeks old, all he does is smile! Chad and I are so fortunate to have such a easy going baby. I might be a little biased, but DANG he's cute!

My handsome little man has grown 5 inches since he was born. He's a giant! He's already in 3 -6 month clothes and he's only 7 weeks old! Chad's 6'5 and I'm 5'10, so we are bound to have ourselves a little giant.

Well here I am officially DONE! I had my friend at work take a quick picture of me this morning before I go for my induction tomorrow. Brex is transverse (sideways) so they are going to induce me tomorrow at 7:30 AM. I'm so excited and I can't wait! I just wanna see what this little guy looks like! Yipee!

Chad decided to take Pax snowboarding/sledding this past weekend. Lets just say that I have a snowboarder in the making! He LOVED it! I can't wait until next year and I can go with. It's gonna be a blast!

Chad said that Pax is the future Shaun White, just cause they have matching red curly hair and had some natural talent at age TWO on a snowboard. I dont want to brag...but I'm so excited he took to it. Chad and I are big time snowboarders and were hoping our boys have the same interest....looks like our wish is gonna come true!

Chad's parents bought him this sled for Christmas. It's just too cute! I've never seen one like it! It was perfect for his age and for sledding!

My AWESOME niece, Chloe competed in a Dive Meet last night. She was the only girl asked to participate and she did "Swimmingly"! And by swimmingly, I mean she got Perfect 10's from all the judges and a FIRST place medal! She is an amazing little girl and athlete! I'm so excited for her future years in sports, she's going to blow us all away!

Sutherland Farms

Chad and I decided to take Pax to Southerland Farms yesterday for a hay ride, a fun slide in corn, feeding the goats and getting lost in the maze! It was super fun! Pax LOVES Pumpkins and had a blast picking out his very own. Once if found the one he wanted, he hugged it, sat on and rolled it away! I love Fall!

All this pumpkin fun, made Pax super thirsty! He's a big fan of Fresca!

Pax has fun in this corn filled box. He was so brave....all the BIG kids were jumping off the top of the hay stack into the corn. Pax was not going to be out done by some other kids. He climbed his way to the top and JUMPED, all by himself! I didn't get a picture of him jumping, but he did developed him own little crowd of adults that watched in amazement! Pax has NO Fear!

It was such a good day! We are having a pumping carving contest next week at my Mom's. (watch for that post, it's gonna be good) Hopefully this pumpkin will give us some good luck!

Paxton's 2 Year Pictures

Paxton won't be turning two until the 28th of this month, but this was a rare time when he didn't have any bruises or cuts on him, so we took full advantage of it and took his pictures! Auntie Jessica did an AMAZING Job! Thanks!

I can't believe how big he is getting! He's completely lost his "infant" look and now how has the full "toddler" look. It makes me so sad to see how fast he's growing up! These pictures truly show who Paxton is....his freckles and red hair is just too cute! He has definitely hit his terrible two's, but I'm still loving every minute of him learning and growing!

The past few weeks have been rough. I have passed kidney stones, had kidney infections, and a continuous UTI. YUCK! So the doctors told me to go get an ultra sound on my kidneys. Amber was nice enough to go with me, THANKS AMBER. As she was checking out my kidneys she decided that she was just going to check out the baby to make sure everything was ok. As we were carrying on our conversation, she asked me if we were going to find out what we were having....well sure enough, she was able to tell. I'm only 12 weeks, but its a............

I have been feeling better, they have me on a high dosage of anti biotics. Hopefully I won't get any more of these problems with my kidneys. Chad is super excited for another boy and is super sad that he wasn't there to find out the sex of the baby. January 20th is still the due date!

We have our first baby appointment yesterday in Durango. Chad was absolutely ecstatic! He was acting like Paxton does when he gets to go for a four wheeler ride. Too Cute! Our Expected due date is till January 20th, 2010. Yeah, 2010...sounds so freakin weird. Makes me feel so old. Boo.

As the ultrasound was about 1/2 over with the nurse said..."hmm", "I dint know what that is"? I freaked out. Then she was like umm....I think that's a cyst on the umbilical cord and then gets up and leaves. WTF? I started freakin out. She told me to get dressed and to go to the next room where the doctor would see us. So, we sat there and waited and waited and waited. It seemed like to was FOREVER! So the doctor FINALLY came in and talk to us about the "cyst"! She said that it's not normal to have there's a 50/50 change it will go away after the first tri-mester. .. But if it doesn't go away, it can cause a hole in my baby's stomach. I just sat there. She saw the look on my face and was like, "NO, NO don't worry, it's probably nothing". Boo on her to tell me not to worry. They scheduled a once a month ultrasound to monitor this "cyst". Chad is being super strong about this and acting like everything will be ok. Maybe it's just my hormones...but pretty sure I'm freakin out. Anyone out there know about Umbilical Cord Cyst?

Paxton has found his new love...the "Jump-O-Line". This little boy LOVES to jump. He can do seat drops and he's working on a forward roll. He cracks me up! All he ever tells me is, "Mama, outside?" or "Jumpin' Jumpin Jumpoline!"

Savanah took the kids to the park for my mom's pre-school end of the year, picnic in the park. Pax thought he was just as big as all those kids. We had to keep a hat on him...cause MAN THAT BOY BURNS! He sure looks like his cousin Ellie, pretty sure they could be brother/sister.

This past week, after the Floater show, we all decided to go to the Albuquerque Zoo. Pax had so much fun with all the animals. He was almsot in a daze when looking at them. I think he was very confused at the fact that he see's them on TV and now it's in person, I just dont think he oculd figure it out. The Albuquerque Zoo is awesome, complete with ALL of the animals, Lions, Tigers and Bears, yes yes....OH MY.

Floater

This past Monday the mostest awesomest band in the world decided to grace us with their presence. Floater hadn't been to New Mexico for a show in 9 years. Monday they rocked out Atomic Cantina. So lets start with Friday....

Horay..it's Friday, last day of work before the weekend. I even got to wear jeans to work. (yehaw) So then I get a phone call from my beloved sister, Savanah, saying Pax has a darn fever. I thought to myself, ok, give him some Tylenol and he'll be good. Well, things didn't go as planned. I ended up leaving at 12:00 from work to go and take care of my little man. He kept up with a fever for the rest of the evening and into Saturday.

Saturday then turned into, complete diarrhea and vomiting and still the same fever. Then the dry heaving came...HORRIBLE! No child should have to dry heave. It's the saddest thing....EVER! So off to Urgent Care we went. After waiting 30 or some minuets and 3 horrible dry heaves by Pax, in the waiting room, they got us in. The lovely nurse gave him a shot of Zofron (to stop throwing up) and a dissolvable pill for us to take home. So home we went.

Finally Sunday is here, and of course I'm thinking the worst is over...BOY was I was wrong! Sunday he ran a fever and still wasn't eating. I thought to myself, give it another day for him to get some fluids in his system... Well my poor little baby was completely lifeless all day. But still wasn't throwing up, which was a plus. So off to.....

Monday. I had already taken the day off so i was home with Pax. He still had a fever and was pretty listless. Then around noon he started throwing up again. YUCK! Then the dry heaving came once more. OFF to Urgent Care again....YUCK! (yes I like the word YUCK!) We get to the lovely Farmington urgent Care (INSERT SARCASM HERE) where there was a bazillion people! YUCK! So while he was dry heaving once again in the waiting room the nurse suggested we go to the ER to get him hooked to an IV because he was so dehydrated. (She could tell just by looking at him...it was THAT BAD) YUCK!

So off to the ER. We get there to find the same amount of people there and the wait to be 2-4 hours! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?!?! By this time Pax is in and out of sleep and PALE. It's hard for the whitest kid that I know to look pale. But he seemed to accomplish it. After 1 1/2 hours of waiting they called us back for what they called "Fast Tracking" (taking a bunch of sick people with the same symptoms to one room with lots of little rooms in them to send one doctor to diagnose all of the "Same" sick people at one time.) (YES THIS IS THE INGENIOUS WAYS OF THE GREAT FARMINGTON HOSPITAL) So finally when the doctor came in...he says, "wow, he looks bad." YeAH! GOOD FREAKIN OBSERVATION BUTTHEAD!?!?!? WTF!?!?! Then he decides that he needs an IV. FINALLY! and he thinks Pax has a Urinary Tract Infection and wants to do a catheter! HOlY SHIZ! By this time I'm freakin out. A 17 month old to get a CATHETER!? POOR LITTLE GUY.

So after the HORRIBLE IV and waiting 2 more hours then decided to do the catheter. IT WAS HORRRRRIIIFFFIIICCC!! I didn't realize how strong Pax was. He was so combative. As any boy/man would be if he had to get a tiny tube stuck up his penis! OUCH! Well after that horrible experience we are told, No...no UTI! WE DID THAT FOR NOTHING! Man, i was mad. Then he decide to check his ears...oh looky there! HE HAS AN EAR INFECTION along with this HORRIBLE FLU! So they finished up his IV, gave me some ear drops and some dissolvable tablets of Zofron and sent us on our happy way around 10:00. Boo. i hate hospitals. BUT MOST OF ALL I HATE THAT MY LITTLE BOY IS SO SO SO SO SO SICK! He's laying next to me right now with a fever and still hasn't got out of bed all morning. He's done some complaining of his penis hurting. So there. I had to vent about this. I'll keep ya'll posted on his prognosis. Hopefully he gets better soon!

Scott Christmas Party

Our Scott Family Christmas Party was Tuesday night! It will filled with the "candy dice game", "gift card exchange" and LOTS AND LOTS OF FOOD!

This was the best picture out of the bunch! With ten grandkids and 12 cousins and 4 autnies and uncles, I'm pretty sure it came out great! Thanks to Savanah for all the hard work and preperation! This was the lovely candy game! Pax was having a hard time wondering why he didn't get to eat everyone's candy! He kept grabbing people's bag and dumping them out and taking off with there candy! It was too much fun!

This past weekend, Chad and I went to the ConocoPhillips Christmas Party. Of course they are huge prizes and give aways! Well as there were 3 TV's, 3 Surrond Sound Systems and 3, $100 Gift Cards given away to the 500 people attending, I was sure I wasn't going to be a winner! BOY was I wrong! At the second drawing for the TV's, they sure enough called my name! ROCHELL FINCH! I was soooo happy that i Looked like this. ....Yepp! This is my happy dance! Horay for a new TV!

Chad and I had a blast at the party! We danced our little tushi's off all night long! They have a 80's cover band, let me just tell you...THEY WERE AWESOME! With Maddonna, Prince and Michael Jackson, this night was Fabulous!

As the night came to a close we were all exhausted from dancing! But over all it kicked off the Christmas Spirit! I'm so thankful to have such a good job!

Spaghetti and Mohawks

My Mother was kind enough to make spaghetti for us all and Paxton had the time of his life!

He was sooo funny! He kept looking and Chad and I wondering if he was going to get into trouble for being so messy! The second Paxton realized it was "Ok" there was no stopping him!

After his Spaghetti bath, Chad threw him in the bath tub and cleaned him up! Chad had been growing out his beard and hair for a while now but decided and Pax and him needed matching mohawks! This is the final product!

You can FINALLY see Paxton's hair! (It only took a year!) I think Chad is hairy enough for the both of them! :-)

Star Wars Rules! hehe. Pax had the priviledge of lettting his mother humilate him! He was the cutest Chew Baca I have ever seen! He pulled it off very well!
Chad couldn't stop laughing when i met up with him to go treak-or-treating in downtown Farmington. It was fun, but Pax only lasted about 30 minuets.

We came across a little boy that was about Paxton's age that was dressed up as Yoda! These two were the hit of down town Farmington! They didn't know what to think about eachother!

Pax is such a blessing in my life! I love holidays so much more! They are just so fun and exciting with him around!

Auntie Banna & Auntie Amber took Pax to Durango last week to take pictures of him!
He's such a big one year old!
Pax is teething and he eats just about ANYTHING right now! Poor little guy! Plus the DROOL is never ending! I think my mom and amber change his shirt 5 times a day! YUCK!
I love this picture! It looks like he gave his bestest cousin, Livy a flower. TOO CUTE!

Well I've had a few request on me posting some pictures of this infamous "Chad"...so here ya go. These pictures are a few weeks old from when we went to the Ignacio Biker Rally.

Chad's amazing...he's 31, from farmington and is 6'5 (my almost most favorite thing about him)! He's works for the City of Farmington and is such a kind, loving and super fun guy! I"m so glad we've met and things couldn't be better for the both of us. He's so good with Pax and Paxton absolutley adores Chad. He chooses him over me!

Another picture of us on the way to Ignacio. Chad loves motorcycles! He has two of them and he built them both! Smarty Pants!

After we got home from the rally, Chad put his bandanna on Pax and now he's an "Offical Biker"! He's such a cutie! (Please ignore my crazy wild hair and my sun burnt nose!)

These are my boys! Diesel, Chad & Pax. Diesel is Pax's BullDog! They get along so well!
